Missed part 1? That's ok! This session will focus on fairytales specifically.
Join us as we travel east of the sun, west of the moon, and into the deep dark forest, to dive into the hidden depths of myth and fairytales. Drawing from tales from around the world, some of the topics this 3-part program covers include:
- The difference between myth, fairytales & folklore
- The meaning of archetypes (ex. the witch in the woods, the princess in the tower, the noble knight, etc.)
- The significance of narrative patterns (ex. why is mom always dead and the stepmother so mean?
- The relevance of enchantment in today's world and for adults
- The final part of this series is scheduled for Thursday, September 26 at 6pm.
