During downtown Hamilton's Live Window seasonal event, local nonprofit Writing Coaches of Montana's staff will be recording a podcast episode. We are excited to discuss the theme of seasonal storytelling. Why does humanity tell particular stories during long and dark winter nights? How might the fabric of these stories hold us together through hope until the light returns?

Writing Coaches of Montana is a local literacy nonprofit that trains community volunteers to offer students, grades 4-12, individualized feedback on any school assignment that requires critical thinking and revision. We are honored to serve students at Hamilton High School, Corvallis High School, Florence-Carlton High School, and Florence-Carlton Middle School.

The bookstore will donate 20% of applicable sales to WCM during the entire month of December. Choose from a list of book titles, including Ravalli teachers' wish lists, to help fund literacy efforts in your local schools.

WCM will be raffling off a beautiful "Winter Wonderland" (blue and white) quilt made and donated by a volunteer writing coach. Raffle tickets are $5 for one, $20 for five. Tickets can be purchased at the event via cash, check, Venmo (@writingcoachesofmontana) or through a WCM website donation until December 31.
